So, I'm thinking about what I could put on this background.  This quilt is for a woman who is a geologist, but she is also a dancer (same kind of dancing as me) and quilter (pretty basic traditional patchwork). I had originally been thinking of sticking lizards and dinosaurs from a print on here, but now I think that's really lame.  One possibility is an ammonite, like this one.  I had been thinking about a black squid
or maybe one like this, since the octopus was so popular. Any other ideas?
